subj= AVP ... another reason to love this town

The AVP - Pro volleyball tour is in town this weekend. I sat in the stands for the Men's Final, a great display of the game.

People in bathing suits all over the place...though to be truthful I mostly noticed bikinis.

Sunny day though, most people broke out before the women's final due to the intense heat while staying seated in the blaze.

I'm sure I'll be a shade or two darker tomorrow as a result.

We plan on catching the party bus downtown tonight to avoid the tourist deluge tonight. I've been waiting to catch it for a while. Woohoo!

subj= is the full moon more accurate??

Two sources of input today.
I'd agree w/ everything except the team skills....I mean they could be better of course but not from a standpoint that they aren't good already. I'd like to believe I'm very team oriented. But you can always get better at anything.

Friendster:
Emotions aren't something you've ever liked airing in public. When you feel the need to express them, it's usually only for a very small audience. At the moment, however, you won't care who's in the vicinity. --

Money Love & Attitude meters ...off the chart! 5of5 in each. woohoo!

AQUARIUS
This is a good time to look back over the past six months or so and assess how far you have come and how far you still have to go if you are to reach the targets you set yourself for 2005. Most likely you are doing well but in one or two areas you need to sharpen up your act. Your teamwork skills could certainly be better!

subj = I'm doing my best with what I have right now

AQUARIUS
If you want something better from life then you must go out and get it for yourself. The does not mean it must be you against the world (on the contrary, you are the kind of person who can be friends with everyone) but you must recognize the fact that only you have the power to make your dreams come true - the ones that really mean something to you anyway.

subj= in the stars

AQUARIUS
If you have fallen out with someone you love don't worry: you will get the chance to kiss and make up when the Sun moves into the partnership area of your chart on Friday. In fact, you will get several such chances but don't leave it too long. If they get the impression you no longer care the way you once did they may go off with someone new.

I truly don't think it's possible to show that I still care more. It's not out of my hands yet, but it definitely not up to me at this point.

subj= getting ready for chuch

Still don't know which time to attend, I've been lame all week due to this chest cold. Trying to stay low key this weekend so as to prepare my body for the upcoming week. It really took a beating this last week as I was trying not to miss any work to preserve vacation time.

Speaking of which. Plans to go to Florida fizzled, but I may just go up to Colorado and help out by adopted newphews and niece while their Dad's out of town. I'll have to look into flights up that way. It will be great to see them.

subj= surprise call today

But it was a good thing, or at least made me feel good. Hoping it will develop into a pattern not simply a matter of courtesy.

subj= even the stars have a sense of irony

AQUARIUS
Don't let anyone persuade you that what you desire is beyond your reach. If you want it enough you will find a way to get it. Having said that, it might be wise to ask yourself first if you really need it and, if you do get your hands on it, will it do you any good. Realizing your desires is not always such a good idea.

subj= the house of the Lord

I went to church today. St. James Catholic Church in the next town. It felt very good to go to church. I'd not been since I moved here back in november. It was simple yet pretty church and the sermon was good for the portion I saw. I was moved to tears.

I was actually headed to a church down the street and happened across this one as one that met more of my personal concept/percept of what church should look like and present. I think I'll be a regular. Now for the follow-through.

God-Bless.

subj= you just have to understand this

"Has anybody else had to watch their husband die on television over and over? I know that it's public and I know that it's national, but it's so private for me."

EVELYN HUSBAND, the widow of Rick Husband, who died on the space shuttle Columbia.

AQUARIUS
Neptune in your birth sign is energized by Mars in Aries today, so use your imagination and follow your dream wherever it might lead. Some may say you have taken leave of your senses but the opposite is more likely to be true: you have finally come to understand that reality is what you want it to be, not what others tell you it should be.

I happen to agree with this in large. Now that's a riot.

Happy Birthday Pops.

It's all downhill from here. A year of milestone birthdays and events. I hope I'm ready for all that.

Monstrous party last night. Actually an entirely monstrous weekend. Too bad I've got a dentist appt this morning. Totally worth going through after this weekend of mischief.

subj= easy start to a big weekend

North End last night. There was actually a line. Had a couple quick ones and rolled out. No point in starting out too hard on a holiday weekend.
