subj= they're still in alignment

AQUARIUS
You may have a list as long as your arm of "things that need to be done" but if you start them today, or tomorrow for that matter, you won't get very far, so forget about your chores for a while and focus on what means most to you: your family, your friends, your social life and the love of your life. Start the weekend early!

I woke up at 7am and am working on just that. Nothing that needs to be done, but of expressing the care I have for those most important in my life.

subj= beautiful view

the ocean was a great shade of blue today. was a fantastic view while walking our rent-a-dog.
=)

subj= emotional moron

that's me. can't figure out what i want from life. can't figure out who I want to be with. Don't know where in the world I want to wind up once I've had my fun here. I'd like to make sure that a better life doesn't pass me by while I'm too busy not making any real choices.

My director at work stated that his full impression of me was first off that I was 'sociable.' That's true and is not a bad statement. He said that he felt "I enjoyed experiencing what the world had to offer" and that too was true and still not bad in any way to me. He closed saying he didn't know if he could express it better but that he had the impression that "You are willing to let the world take you where it will" to which I responded that he had.

Unfortunately, I'm thinking that maybe I let the world have a little too much of a say at this point. It's time to decide how I can correct my heading.

subj= in the stars

it's scary when they are that close to what you've been thinking and feeling

AQUARIUS
Even if you are the kind of Aquarius who finds it hard to let others know what you are feeling the entry of both Venus, planet of love, and Mercury, planet of communication, into the partnership area of your chart today will help you to reach out to those who mean something to you emotionally. The rest of the week will be good for relationships.

subj= hipocracy at it's best

We can't display the 10 commandments in a government building anymore with the recent Supreme Court ruling, but we can still print "In God We Trust" on our money.

subj= sunday puzzle

It took 3 of us and a sober person to put together last night's events. Apparently we all had a pretty good time. Don't even remember having subway on the way home. But I'm sure my stomach is thankful for it.

Today will be spent in mild recovery. Lunch out on a patio and then a couple of episodes of the OC chillin in the pad. A long deserved restful sunday.

Next weekend will have no such mercy.

subj= Sad truth of NY baseball

MONEY BAWL IF YOU are trying to teach a child lessons about finances, we suggest a family get-together to watch the Subway Series. For when the Mets and Yankees assemble this weekend, they will personify these two cliches: "You get what you paid for," and "Money cannot buy happiness."

subj= weekend update

Saturday was spent on an all day SoCal pub crawl.
Met up with a friend in Newport Beach and chilled on her porch for a little while with some coronas. We were supposed to go roller blading, but wound up walking to the boardwalk and drink hopping 3 bars. Mike and myself detoured before obtaining a buz and travelled south to Pacific Beach in San Diego. There we met up with a friend of mine who's girlfriend was moving away for personal exploits for the summer. I've been in that situation and didn't dare probe to deeply as to how he would handle his situation as I see how mine has turned out over time. I can't say I'm overly happy with the way mine did, I can only hope he is happier with the results of his own. The party waned though so we proceeded further south to Ocean Beach where we met up w/ Mike's friends at....a bar and hopped to yet another before retiring to a short stint of house party. I'm not sure how late we stayed up, but there were many a body found on the floor in the morning.

We returned early Sunday morning after grabbing breakfast at Mikky D's. It'd been so long since I'd enjoyed a Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit. One of the best hangover helpers if you can get over the sinking in your stomach feeling it gives you a couple of hours later. Back in Hermosa we gathered ourselves and I met up with the neighbors to spend some time on the beach playing catch, horshoes, and just plain laying out. We made a quick stop on the pier for some dollar draughts and then checked out a house party that wasn't, so we went home.

I managed to keep from drinking / partying the rest of the evening am simply watching some movies. An easy Sunday night. I haven't managed that in a while. It's so funny seeing your bartenders in commercials on t.v. . A good laugh each time.

subj= it's in the stars

AQUARIUS
Don't waste time yearning for something, or someone, you cannot have. There are plenty of other things in your life that you can have and that will bring you a great deal of joy, so why get hung up on something that can only bring you pain and regret? Okay, so you can be a bit perverse but that's taking it too far!

Hmmm, that's a good point. Time to get to livin' instead of dreamin'.

subj= 2nd that i've felt

It's been a rolly week in California.
I experienced my 2nd earthquake while at work today. A measly 4.9 shimmy. I was in the middle of a meeting so I got to enjoy the whole thing without any interuption to activity. We had a tsunami warning earlier in the week as well. Fun stuff mother nature.

subj= pass the ambien please

I haven't been sleeping worth a lick lately. It's not simply cuz of any physical pain I'm in. I'm in all kinds of pain in general. I dunno which way to prioritize them. I just know that I haven't gotten away with this little sleep in a long time. Maybe it's the ocean air?

subj= it's in the stars

You take great delight in proving the doubters wrong but there are occasions when their criticisms are relevant and this may be one of them. The planets warn that if you ignore what your friends and family say and push ahead regardless you may soon be eating a large slice of humble pie - and you know how you hate to be humble.

I do hate to be humble.

subj= honorable mention of a 1st

how could I have left that out

experienced my first earthquake yesterday
early in the morning, apparently a 5.1 or something near that

it was pretty cool
i was lying on the floor pretty much when my body began to shimmy
it was like a big truck was rolling by in Boston, that shakes the house
'cept this was just the ground moving by itself.
got to watch the pitcher of water by my side shimmy as well

glad it was a mild one for a 1st
got to sit back and enjoy the ride
woohoo.

subj= day at the beach

Great time at the beach today.
So many dolphins in the water, playing about : kind of surfing and even doing tricks completely out of the water. They were swimming right up to the surfer that was out there. If any of my pictures are viewable, I'll post a link.

A couple of hours of recovery in the morning and then beach time till 5. Came home to pick up the straglers sitting in my apt. w/o me. Still getting a little used to that. Then headed down to the pier for some ice cream and people watching. That was a great idea.

The intention was to head back home, clean and do some 'work'. But that didn't happen. We ran into a friend of a friend and wound up heading into Sharkeez. That was the end of that as we stayed well into the night.....again.

Eventually as the numbers dwindled, I packed the night up and we headed home for a movie and a nap. We of course did try to rally at F's first , but it was a ghost town, probably to our benefit.

subj= Diesel and Flash go down

I was rootin' for the Heat to win. Their loss does not sadden me much as it means that Pat Riley still must wait one more year to get another ring. As a NY Knicks fan, seeing him have to wait is not a let down. Can't root for SanAn though as they beat the Knickers a couple of years ago. So go Pistons!

subj= annoying

moto's got a flat again...i'll have to replace the tyre this time
can't take chances that there's a 2nd fault in the existing one.
Luckily a co-worker just moved nearby and so I can was able to hitch for the day
maybe the week, we'll have to see how that goes.
I'll have to try and make it somewhat easier on her and at least get to her house to begin with.
Thank the Lord for good hearted people.
