subj= inspiration or boredom
I started writing again. A couple of diary type entries and even a couple of quick poems. It's become mildly liberating. I sit out in the sun for lunch, listen to music and let the pen flow as it may. Sometimes it makes sense and others I've got to nudge it in the right direction. It's been a long while since I wrote regularly, so I'm hoping that getting into a more regular rhythm will get me into a proper stream of thoughts. Taking it one day at a time right now but hopefully one of these days will give me better reason to anticipate the next.
Ciao

subj= of a man who has changed our country
a man who's views still stand and whose influence still resonates
it is a shame our country still stands in the shadows of his deeper truths
Malcolm X 40 years later.
"How the incendiary presence of Malcolm X would figure in that pantheon of Nebraskans, and whether to embrace him as a native son, has been a matter of debate for the state’s Hall of Fame Commission. Malcolm X was considered but rejected by the commission in April 2004."

subj= the stars are right from time to time
It may seem as if time has all but run out, but you should know by now
that life moves in cycles, so although you have come to the end of one
particular phase, another one is about to begin. You have learned a lot
in recent weeks - now apply that knowledge to your everyday existence,
and never stop applying it, no matter how much things change.

subj= QOTD
The reinvention of the Middle East ?
"I don't think anybody thinks that the unelected mullahs who run that regime are a good thing for the Iranian people or for the region. I think our European allies agree that the Iranian regime's human rights behavior and its behavior toward its own population is something to be loathed."
CONDOLEEZZA RICE, secretary of state.
